ABOUT THE PROGRAM!

At GSFC University, the Foundation Course offers a meticulously curated experience for incoming students, immersing them in a holistic educational journey. Exploring the intricacies of on and off-campus life, it aims to cultivate versatile individuals ready to make meaningful contributions to society. Through an emphasis on adaptability, analytical thinking and problem-solving prowess, students are equipped to excel as proficient thinkers and solution providers across various disciplines. 

The inception of the Foundation Course at GSFC University was orchestrated by the Hon’ble President, Shri P. K. Taneja, IAS (Retd.) in the academic year 2018-19. This course, which carries 2 credits, embodies core principles while also adapting them to fit the specific ethos and goals of GSFC University.

Kicking off on December 12th, 2018, the inaugural edition spanned a transformative three weeks, delving into pivotal themes such as Values and Ethics, Creativity, Teamwork, Social Awareness, University Code of Conduct & Discipline, Safety & First Aid, Disaster Management and Physical Fitness. A vibrant cohort of 396 students from three Schools of the University enthusiastically partook in this enriching experience.
